We’d collaborated numerous times before with Ark Construction. But this one was special because it was for their own offices. If there’s one element that stood out about the project more than any, it was that going into the project, we had the trust of a client who already knew our work intimately.

Working with them, we designed a bright, open space that could really showcase their exceptional skills as contractors. A fluid theme of transparency works both to maximize available natural light, but also in highlighting Ark’s approach to business.

They are a family-run company with an energetic sensibility borne of youth and dynamism. The embodiment of this culture and mindset is evident in the lobby which, as they own the building, we also designed for them.

Conceptualizing, planning and completing such a fluid, clean design was made all the more memorable by having fortune of working with a talented client who fulfilled all the construction themselves.
