Project Overview

The Canadian Chamber of Commerce approached us with a unique problem. They were founded in 1929. All that past had imbued them with a strong collective history, but as times change, so do the mechanisms of work. The CCC recognized that their office environment wasn’t cohesively inspiring communication and collaboration. Their office layout was very much a silo-operation -very cellular. Effectively, this was cutting various groups off from others and dampening the potential for an overall sense of pride across the organization.

To succeed in attracting new members and emerging talent, the CCC knew a fundamental change was in order.  This is exactly the kind of challenge that ignites us.

Working together, the CCC and LWG developed and applied a Change Management Process. We sought input from all CCC staff members to ensure that it would be perfectly suited to the dynamic of the Chamber.

The office environment that resulted surpassed expectations. More importantly, it focused and fused the entire organization into a unit. And for us, the entire process was immensely rewarding. LWG managed the entire project. We provided budgeting and scheduling for its every aspect.

The due diligence we provided during the leasing acquisition process, including assembling a dedicated project team comprised of Engineers, Lighting Consultants, Branding and AV Specialist were all part of what made this a smashing success.

A “transformative change” best characterizes this assignment.  CCC trusted the LWG team to guide them through the challenging from a cloistered cellular office environment to an open and team-oriented workspace.   LWG developed a grassroot communication strategy which enabled and encouraged CCC staff to contribute and participate in every step of the development and realization of their new work environment which reflected their values of inclusivity and accessibility. – Marc Letellier
